Licences: All competitors must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence. Any competitor reported by the Environment Agency to the resulting team on the day of the match will be disqualified.

Keepnet: Minimum length of 2 metres

Bait Bans: See fishery rules.

Fishery Rules

TWO KEEP NETS APRIL – OCT (ONE SILVER/ONE CARP). HOWEVER IF YOU ARE CATCHING MAINLY CARP PLEASE SPLIT THESE BETWEEN NETS.
ALL FISH TO BE NETTED.
FISH NOT TO BE ROLLED DOWN KEEP NET WHEN WEIGHING – USE STRAPS OR PULL-OUT RING.
NO EJECTION OF BAIT AFTER MATCH – USE BAIT BUCKETS.
NO FEEDERS ON MATCH LAKES.
14M POLE LIMIT.
NO FLOATING POLE OR RATTLER METHODS.
A FLOAT/POLE BALL MUST BE USED AT ALL TIMES.
BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY.
NO ARTIFICIAL BAITS.

FISHERY BAIT BANS:

LAKEVIEW PELLETS ONLY (ANY HOOK PELLET).
BLOODWORM AND JOKER.
NUTS AND BOILIES
MEAT BASED PETFOOD (DOG AND CAT FOOD).
FLOATING BAITS (HOOK AND FEED).
LUNCHEON MEAT ONLY TO BE FED WITH GROUNDBAIT VIA POLE POT (CAN BE USED AS A HOOK BAIT).
GROUNDBAIT PERMITTED 1KG MAX. TO BE FED VIA A POLE POT ONLY.
ONLY SMALL HANDFULS OF PELLETS, MAGGOTS ETC ALLOWED TO BE THROWN INTO LAKES. HOWEVER YOU ARE PERMITTED TO THROW NUGGET SIZED PIECES OF GROUNDBAIT & PREWETTED PELLETS INTO LAKE.

STRICTLY NO LITTER.

ANY DISPUTES – THE FINAL RULING STANDS WITH THE FISHERY STAFF.

Refreshments: Available on site

Eligible Fish:
All fish caught are eligible for weighing with the exception of Game Fish, Pike, Zander and Crustaceans.

Closure of water for practice purposes from Midnight on 20th July 2008
